Tripod is a novel adapted from true events. It is about two boys who rescue and injured puppy and nurse him back to health. Despite the loss of his hind leg Tripod manages to overcome insurmountable challenges and inspire an entire community. I wanted to capture the feelings of hope and opportunity in these concept covers for the book. Sometimes it is okay to judge a book by its cover.
